In its ongoing pledge to improve customer service, AutoGo Auto Transport announced that it has reduced transit times and accelerated car shipping deliveries in over 200 shipping lanes for large metropolitan pick-up and deliveries.
By partnering resources in AutoGo’s logistic and dispatch departments, transit times have been reduced by one to two days in major city areas. “With new technology in Global Positioning and two-way driver communications, we have initiated a Full Mission Capable system that keeps drivers moving in optimal shipping lanes,” said Gizmo Motto, Operations Manager. “We plan to be the first auto shipper to have to have full In-Transit Visibility by late next year. AutoGo is aggressively moving to enhance on-time performance by using in-house turnkey solutions for high freight volume.”
Additional shipping enhancements will be planned to better implement and control the flow of vehicles being shipped from points of origin to points of destination in rural areas and in remote northern and southern regions.
