Kids authors who have been published independently, by PODs or traditional publishers might want to consider adding their titles to the bookshelf at Animal Trails. The scope of titles is open for authors. Picture books and Young Adult novels are being considered for the Animal Trails Reading List this spring and summer. Animal Trails is also open for receiving teen reads which extends to true life stories. The only rule is that animals are the theme of the book.
Animal Trails has had book reviews published through radio, print and the Animal Trails blog. Authors who have spring and summer book reviews through Animal Trails will receive a published review from Animal Trails. There is a limited amount of free media being offered. What a way to save change during the rainy days of April!
During the early 1990s, Animal Trails began as a small regional publication. There have been continued efforts to provide educational materials for classrooms and for alternative forms of education. This has included ESL and homeschooling. Writers and illustrators have been an essential element towards making this happen.
