First Annual $1 Dollar Drive For The Because I Care Foundation, Inc.

Kicking off its first fund-raising effort, the Because I Care Foundation, Inc. will begin hosting an annual $1 drive to raise money for the organization. The drive will take place for approximately 34 days, beginning on April 11th and end on May 15th, to coincide with the birthdays of both the founder Sharon Freeman, and her son DeVion Brown, respectively.
“I am really excited about starting this fundraiser. This will be the first major event of our organization that will hopefully help us to fulfill the mission of our cause!”
May 15th also marks the Annual Day of Awareness for The Vascular Birthmarks Foundation and the Annual Buddy Booby’s Birthmark Read-A-Long that the BIC members actively participate in. Knowing that there are so many people that are unable to donate money due to the current economic situation, the Foundation asks if you are unable to donate money, that you instead consider helping by doing your Internet searches via GoodSearch on behalf of the organization.

Donations for the $1 drive can be made directly on their website at http://www.bic-foundation.org.  Proceeds earned will go towards their mission to provide all doctors offices and hospitals brochures and handouts for families and patients who are affected by each of the lymphatic, vascular, and related syndromes and malformations.
