MKFireplaces engineers are Gas Safe Registered.
Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI gas registration in Great Britain on April 1st 2009.
From 1st April, by law, only Gas Safe registered engineers should be used to carry out work on gas appliances or installations. Be aware that CORGI gas registration is no longer a valid gas certification. You should ensure that you check the engineer you employ is Gas Safe registered.
MKFireplaces are pleased to confirm that as a company is pleased to confirm that their engineers are Gas Safe registered. You should feel confident in engaging MKFireplaces to undertake any work on gas appliances or installations in your home or business.
The Gas Safe Register message is very clear. Before you agree to have any work done in your home you should check the card of the engineer engaged to carry out any work on gas appliances or installations.
MKFireplace registered engineers will be identified with the new yellow Gas Safe Register logo, and every engineer must carry a Gas Safe Register ID card with their own unique licence number.
Incorrectly fitted, badly repaired or poorly maintained gas appliances are a major cause of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning which can lead to gas leads and explosions.

Gas Safe Register™ is the registration body appointed by the Health and Safety Executive to manage the gas safety register in Great Britain from 1 April 2009. It is a legal requirement for anyone carrying out domestic and commercial gas work to be registered, and comply with the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998.
