The Alternative takes home Gold at leading Awards

The IVCA Europe's Leading Professional Body for Communications recognises innovation and creativity at annual awards.

April 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Creative Engagement agency The Alternative is celebrating being award winners at the 2009 International Visual Communication Association’s (IVCA) 21st annual awards.   This year’s event celebrated the finest achievements in the industry and recognised business effectiveness, originality, creativity and production arts.

The Alternative was awarded two of the coveted prizes on the night which included the prestigious Gold award in the category of “External Live & Experiential Communications" with its innovative Gesture-Based Interactive Window, for client Orange.
The judges' citation read as follows
“Ground breaking truly engaging experience. The judges felt it stood out as a leading edge creative solution, which exceeds all their expectations. Inspiring, exciting and fun”

The Alternative also scooped a silver award in the “Internal Live & Experiential Communications”category for its work on the Orange Retail Unsigned experience. A project that set about championing the spirit of engagement with the Orange brand. Judges noted that it was  
“A fun way to bring an external message internal. It created a story that maximised the brand positioning”.

IVCA Chief Executive, Marco Forgione, commented: “The Awards dinner on Friday evening was a wonderful celebration of the very best in the industry.  We saw the incredible power and creativity of the industry, and its ability to establish meaningful emotional engagement with audiences.”
