The converter rack is designed to accommodate 14/16 slide-in modules of media converters of various types at a central location for multiple segment cross connection.

The OPT14/16 series converter chassis provides intelligent management for monitoring critical connections efficiently and boasts a slim 2U design to save expensive data center space. It fits completely into any network environment. All of the modules are hot swappable thus eliminating costly network downtime.

Since each channel operates independently, new modules can be added as required and this flexibility allows this unit to grow with networks.
The converter has a slim low profile chassis and a mix of 10Mbps,100Mbps and Gigabit media converter cards, GAO's 14/16 port converter integrated rack is an ideal solution for connecting modern evolving networks.
