The indisputable fact that the word is globalized is something real. No matter how much incredulity, instability or drama our perceptions make us feel or think, its retrocession is unthinkable. It is natural that, under the circumstances, its impact causes perplexity. However, the most elemental intelligence would indicate a need to react.
As always, humanity has been capable of overcoming the great calamities suffered throughout history. With great vicissitudes it has been able to organize, and those of us fortunate enough to still exist should be grateful for this incredible adventure.
Immediately, it is likely that some questions may arise: What can or shall we do? Where do we want to arrive? What are the capabilities, tools and instruments necessary for it?
Singapore, Ireland and New Zealand are examples of small countries with a surprising level of development. This is possible.
In that sense, there is no doubt about the great importance of educational systems, and, more specifically, of information technologies.
Notwithstanding, educational systems are incapable of updating themselves in order to respond efficiently to the rapid changes that take place in the world. The great importance of the educator is then clearly seen. With a clear conscience of his mission and tenacious availability to bring about a transformation in teaching, the educator will allow the students the development of their creativity. This, in turn, has been one of the principal lacks in the educational praxis.
"The complexity of the world demands a new type of exemplary leadership that will conduct humanity toward superior studies of human progress with transparency, social equality and solidarity" (1).
The website Creative Teaching: Education For Being contains an innovative organization of the curriculum for primary and secondary grades, compatible with the educational systems of all countries, which adequately responds to such needs.
