Schaumburg, Ill. - Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital, Hamilton, Mont., is the latest health care facility to install HospitalPortal.NET’

Marcus Daly Memorial is a 25-bed facility with a staff of 485 including 31 physicians. The hospital previously had no Intranet in place.
“No one knew where policies and procedure forms were when I first came here because we had no Intranet and it was very frustrating,”
said Brian Moreau, Information Systems Director. “All we had was a public folder on our network and you had to sort through other folders to figure out where everything was.” Moreau said he chose HospitalPortal.NET because of his previous experience with the company’s Intranet Portal at a health care facility in Iowa.

Moreau said. “They gave us all the functionality we needed.”

s Intranet solution will improve efficiencies at Marcus Daly in such areas as policies and procedures, finances and online maintenance. He said that he anticipates time savings of 100 employee hours per month that otherwise would have been lost in time-consuming searches for appropriate forms.
