Schaumburg, IL -  Doctors Hospital, Nassau, Bahamas., a 72-bed facility that offers primary, specialty, acute care and emergency services has activated its HospitalPortal.NET™ Intranet, the first in its history.  Doctors Hospital is the first international client of HospitalPortal.NET, a leading provider of secure hospital-specific Intranet sites for electronic information sharing and information publishing.

  "We began a search for an Intranet provider knowing that we needed to improve our communications and our end user training, and incorporate policies and procedures software for Joint Commission accreditation," said Chadwick Williamson, vice-president of information technology.  "After examining five providers, we chose HospitalPortal.NET because they really understand what is needed in our hospital environment."
