April 6, 2009 - PRLog -- A new season of Home Style kicks off this summer with a fantastic lineup of projects designed to help homeowners keep their houses looking great — and more energy efficient — even during these touch economic times.

Our first episode introduces a family who moved into their four-bedroom home three years ago then refinished the kitchen, two out of three bathrooms and all the floors.

Now that the house is a few years older, it’s time for the next round of renovations. But like many us these days, their budget for home improvement projects has shrunk.

To save money, the dad has taken over maintenance of the swimming pool, which needs a new pump and is turning green, and the yard, which, in some spots, is not quite as green as the swimming pool. Throw in a fulltime job and three young children, and it’s pretty obvious he’s got his hands full.

To help him out, we call in the experts. Not only will we be getting the pool and lawn in order, but we’ll help organize the garage, find a solution to the leaf-filled gutters, help cut the AC bill, pressure clean the house, give it a sorely needed fresh coat of paint and more.

“This season, we’re really focusing on helping homeowners get their houses in shape, even when money is tight,” says Chris Willis, executive producer. “We’ll be looking at all kinds of green and efficient solutions to your problems. It’s going to be a lot of fun and very informative.”

Home Style is a half-hour show dedicated to providing its viewers with a fresh and unique perspective on home remodeling. Each feature tells a story from the homeowner’s perspective, going behind the scenes to discover the most interesting tales and using the powerful medium of television to relay them.
