Guru the musical will be performed live in concert on April 18, 2009 at the Springs River Festival in Miami Springs. A brand new musical from the mind of Jim Camacho. Guru the musical is Jim Camacho's third musical production to hit the stage. Jim's previous work includes "Fools’ Paradise", which was produced locally in Miami, FL, performed two sold out shows Off-Broadway at the Peoples Improv Theater in New York City with another staging in New York City planned for late summer. GURU is a musical journey that tells the story of a self-help coach who is trying to take over the world; and his Elvis impersonator fraternal twin brother who dares to stand in his way.
This event features some of the best voices and musicians in Florida. The show will be recorded live for release on Green Vinyl records.
