Military Grade Technology For Babies

Unlike traditional monitors, the Snuza Halo is small, light & easy to use. The Snuza has many advantages over other traditional monitors, according to Business Manager Charlotte Wenham. ‘It's around 30 times smaller & 20 times lighter than other traditional under-mattress monitors,’ Ms Wenham said. ‘This is because the electronic circuitry used is the very latest edge technology and it uses exceptionally little electrical current.’ Further safety features were included to ensure that the monitor offered maximum protection without exposing the baby to any hazards. ‘There are no wires on the monitor at all’ she said ‘this ensures the baby's limbs or neck can't get caught in cables or straps. It also means there is no risk of babies being electrocuted by mains connections.’

Snuza Halo is very easy to use – simply turn it on and slip it over the waistband of your baby’s diaper. The sensitive motion detector will recognize baby’s tummy movements. If the monitor does not sense movement within a 15 second time period, it will trigger a vibration to simulate your baby again, imitating a technique called ‘Cutaneous Stimulation’ that is used in many Hospitals Neonatal Intensive Care Units worldwide. If movement is not sensed within a further 5 seconds, an audible alarm is triggered so that you can act promptly.
