Perhaps the most important section of a business plan, second only to the Executive Summary, is the Management Plan. Not only do potential investors use this to evaluate management strategy, but they also use it to evaluate effective management knowledge.
What does a management plan include? It details the human element of a business. It answers the question about how many people it will take to run the business operations. Employment standards, procedures, and benefits must be explained in detail. Background information, duties, and qualifications of managers are laid out. This section could be considered the “resume” of the business.
“Management Plans are another important part of the overall business plan. They must be well written and detailed to be effective,” says Angel Bischak, President of Angels Wealth Lenders.
