MINI HORNET LS
MINI HORNET LS is designed to meet the needs of fabrication and sheet metal shops requiring plasma systems with output from 40 to 120 amps. Select either a full featured torch height control for plate cutting or a roller ball plate rider for HVAC applications. MINI HORNET LS is available with an effective cutting width of 60” and cutting lengths of either 120” or 240”.
Fully welded and stress relieved heavy duty steel tubing guarantees an accurate and stable machine frame and gantry beam. The wide gantry end truck and cross axis tool carriage ride on precision ground linear ways to deliver unsurpassed performance. Mounting surfaces for linear ways and gear rack are precision machined to ensure maximum cut part accuracy.
Motion control is provided by the Hypertherm® MicroEDGE™ industrial CNC control. Hypertherm is the world leader in plasma cutting automation and will be around decades from now to support their products. Windows® XP Embedded operating system, hardened industrial enclosure and easy-to-learn Phoenix™ software make Hypertherm® controls the best in the business.
Retro Systems manufacturers a full line of CNC profile cutting machines for the plasma and oxyfuel cutting processes. Technical sales and service training, product engineering and manufacturing are all done in-house at their Valley Center, KS factory.
