Career Transition Program Available to Companies to Help Laid off Employees Upgrade Their Skills

The Personal Skills Module, runs 5/1, 6/6 and covers mindset, your transferable skills, creating a dynamic cover letter and functional resume.

The Professional Skills Module, runs 5/8, 6/12 and  will teach how to target key companies and decision makers, prepare for the interview, align volunteerism and service with your passion, network with purpose and some essential sales skills.

The Computer Skills for Business Module, runs 5/15, 6/19 and outlines the importance of technology, the main applications of  Word, PowerPoint and Excel, the Microsoft Suite, and using Google for business.

The Social Media Module, runs 5/22, 6/26 and introduces people to the on line world of e-mail marketing, blogging, social media for business.

They are held Friday’s 9 a.m. to noon at the Business and Industry Services Center, 2855 Colonial Blvd. in Ft Myers.  Cost is $45 per each module, $135 for the series.
They can also be customized for individual companies, either on or off site
