Ashutosh Rana
All are aware about the acting skills of actor Ashutosh Rana. Whenever he played any character he gets completely into it, whether it is the character in Dushman, sangharsh, Raj, Laado, Mission Kashmir, Shabnam Mausi and his other films.These days Ashutosh is back in News for his soon to be released film‘Coffee House’. Sakshi Tanwar aka Parvati Bhabhi of serial ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’ is also there with him in the film.
Under the banner of Shiv Kala Motion Pictures and Marwaha Films, It is directed and written by Gurbir Singh Garewal. Recently we had a conversation with Ashutosh Rana regarding the film, following are the impressions of the conversation-
Tell us something about your movie coffee house /what kind of film it is?
The film is not on any segment of society but it is the story about a coffee house and groups of different people but because they all come to the coffee house they have a sort of relation with each other. It teaches us that we just sitting drink and gossip cant sought out the problem but it’s the time to take action.
What is your character about?
The questions of feelings & emotions really touches the heart and that what ‘Coffee House’is about.I am the true solider of my Pen and believe in the power of writing and tries to solve problems and issue. I really like my character after a long time there is a good opportunity to work on a good film.
Tell us something about the experience working with director Gurbir?
I know Gurbir since the time I started my career, he directed popular serial “Neem Ka Ped” on Doordarshan, Punjabi movie “Mannat”. He has done a good job in this film too and audience will surely like it.
There is also Sakshi Tanwar with you in this film, tell us something about that?
We all know Sakshi is a great actor which she had already proved on small screen. Sakshi has done a great job in this film and I enjoyed working with her.
You started your career with small screen and after a long time you are now back again on small screen. So how are you finding it?
Excellent!! I started my career from TV. I worked in Swabhiman, Farz, Sajish, Kabhi Kabhi, Varis etc. except this also hosted “Baazi Kiski” and now working in “sarkar” serial on Real TV and there is good response too.
Except “Coffee House” which all films you are doing?
Sargana, Monika, Main Hoon Khalnayak, Hemilton Palace, Aagah, D Murder are few of my upcoming movies.
You have worked in many films. Which performance do you like the most?
I like all my performances but my fans really like my role in “Dushman”, and for Sangharsh I got the Filmfare for best Negative character award.
