New Book on Getting One's Momentum Back in this difficult economic time.

This book is destined to become the new have to have book. It's about encouraging people to get their momentum back.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 04, 2009 -
In today’s economic situation, it is easy to get depressed. Bad news is everywhere. People are losing their jobs and their homes. Businesses are closing out going overseas. Families are requiring more assistance than ever. Even if every person is not affected by the current economic downturn, everybody knows somebody who is.
But, believe it or not, there is a silver lining to this dark cloud.
With hard work, ingenuity and a lot of hope and faith, people can brave this storm.
That is exactly what Robb Munger addresses in his first published book, Momentum: Getting One’s Momentum Back; the first in the Intentional Velocity series.
“I know it’s hard to keep going when it feels like everything that can go wrong, has,” said Munger. “I wanted to write a book to encourage people and help them understand that by jump-starting their own lives, they can get ahead and secure a good life for themselves and their family.”
Munger has started several multi-million dollar companies from scratch. He said he is not impervious to things going wrong, but that the key is to keep working hard and not make the same mistake again.
“My life isn’t perfect,” he said. “The difference between me and most other people is that I don’t get discouraged. I just dust myself off and keep going. I try harder and work smarter.”
Munger said he has had several mentors who have helped guide him through some tough times, and now he wants to offer other people the same advice. Munger has served as a consultant to several large companies to help their leaders get their momentum back, and he recently began serving on the Board of Directors for one of the nation’s largest homeless and rescue shelters. When the executive director of the organization resigned unexpectedly, Munger used that opportunity to exercise his ability to get that organization moving again, as well.
“Jump-starting momentum basically is the same for individuals, large organizations or non-profit groups,” said Munger. “The only thing that differs is the circumstances. No matter what situation people are in, they just need to figure out what it will take for them to get their momentum going. Once they do, the only thing left is to implement it.”
Munger said he was motivated to write the book because he understands what it is like to lose his momentum and get stuck in a rut.
“I have seen great people make minor mistakes that turn into major problems,” he said. “We don’t need to let small mishaps ruin the course of our lives, though.”
Munger said the book is designed to help stop the negative effects of bad circumstances and help people get their lives moving again.
Momentum: Getting One’s Momentum Back will be available in April. Intentional Velocity Publishing currently is taking orders.
