"The" children modeling and talent search
Stamford, Connecticut -- "The" -- expthe.tv -- announced the endorsement of their talent search event by actress Malese Jow and her mother. Along with other industry celebrities, Malese Jow and Wilmer Valderrama are the most recent to endorsed the event known as THE pronounced tay.
The first successful THE event occurred in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, in August of 2008. Preparations will begin soon for the second Phoenix event. Currently preparations are underway for the "THE" event being held on May 7, 2009, at Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa in Stamford, Connecticut, that will bring aspiring models and talent together with leading modeling and talent agencies from Los Angeles, New York, and other major markets across the country.
Director of Operations, Nathan Biay, "the Connecticut event will include intensive acting and modeling orientations, industry seminars, and industry networking party, talent showcasing opportunities with dozens of industry professionals, and a red carpet experience at the closing night awards celebration where participants have a chance to win over $50,000 in cash prizes! (Biay also warns participants to beware of copy cat events as they do not actually give out the large cash prizes.)
Jow and Valderrama are just two of the many celebrities endorsing this unique experience for young people. Well-known Hollywood personalities will make appearances at Connecticut talent search event. More important however will be the participation of leading modeling and talent agencies from Los Angeles, New York, and other major markets as the presence of these professionals could mean the discovery of a new performing arts rising star.

Participants showcasing their skills and talent at "THE" events showcase their many talents and skills in various venues which include: acting scene work, monologue performances, modeling on the runway, cold reads, and much more.
