April 3, 2009 - PRLog -- Capps and Bolt Publishing (ASCAP) is pleased to announce that Henry Capps’ single DOWN ON THE OLD RIVER ROAD, has been selected as one of 15 original tracks on Tom Fahey’s “Now That’s AmericanaOK – The CD – Volume One.”

The song, which features Mr. Capps singing only with a guitar, tells the bewitching tale of a lover speeding down the Old River Road when fate intervenes.  Pure Americana, the song appeals to fans of folk, story songs and country music.

According to Tom Fahey of AmericanaOK Radio, who brings together some of the very best artists in Americana music today, “I am passionate about introducing Americana music to the widest possible audience.  My hope is that the CD will raise awareness of the show, the music genre, and the contributing artists including the great Henry Capps.”

Mr. Capps is pleased, “To be included with artists such as these in AmericanaOK’s first compilation CD is both a privilege and an honor.”
