Chandara Resort & Spa in Phuket, awards management contract to Absolute Resorts & Hotels

PR Log (Press Release) – Apr 03, 2009 – Chandara Co. Ltd. the owning company of Chandara Resort & Spa in Phuket, has awarded the management contract of the Chandara Resort & Spa to Absolute Resort Management (A.R.M.) operators of Absolute Resorts & Hotels.  The management change-over has taken effect (retroactively) from 01 April 2009 from which date the resort will be known as “Absolute Chandara Resort & Spa”.

Mr. Prasert Isvarphornchai, Managing Director of Chandara, cited that ‘this mutually beneficial arrangement will lead to stronger brand recognition and positioning in the Phuket hospitality industry.’  Currently, A.R.M is managing and developing eight hotels and resorts in Phuket, Pattaya and Samui, each property having its own unique personality contributing to a total “Absolute” experience.  Absolute Resort  Management’s Managing Director  Mr Supachart Ruamsamu noted ‘ with the addition of the Chandara Resort & Spa to the Absolute Resorts & Hotels portfolio, we have gained an outstanding property in a superb location.

Built in 2006, the Chandara Resort & Spa occupies a premium location, located on a slight elevation gently sloping from the virtually private and peaceful beach of Ao Po Bay on the eastern side of Phuket Island.
