Dallas, TX – Sunera LLC, a multinational provider of risk and control consulting, announced it has hired Kevin Carey as a Director to lead its Dallas office practice. Kevin brings over thirteen years of professional experience and will be in charge of all aspects of managing Sunera’s Dallas office including business development, client delivery, and practice administration.

Carey, prior to Sunera, has held the titles of Director of Internal Audit for KPMG’s Dallas Internal Audit, Regulatory and Compliance Services practice, Manager of Internal Audit for one of the nation’s largest media companies and Internal Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he began his consulting career. His experience in both public accounting and industry involved working in healthcare, oil & gas, information technology, communication and entertainment, and retail services, performing risk assessments, a variety of consulting services, forensic accounting, and implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley best practices. He has served the needs of such well known companies as Perot Systems, Denbury Resources, Inc. and Belo Corp.
