Violent Film Website Launches with Kung Fu Flid

Violent film fans are now able to access new and cult violent films from a dedicated website www.filmlounge.com. The first film to be available on the new site is  a controversial British film called Kung Fu Flid.

Starring disabled actor Mat Fraser, along with gangster stalwart Frank Harper and Faye Tozer (formerly of Steps), Kung Fu Flid sees Jimmy Loveit (Fraser) try to rescue his wife and daughter from underworld thugs involved in people trafficking. The film is at times extremely violent yet the violent scenes are cleverly interspersed with moments of laugh out loud comedy.

“We wanted to launch Film Lounge with something really ‘different’ and Kung Fu Flid is exactly that,” says Terry Stone, actor (he plays  Ron, Jimmy’s fight trainer in Kung Fu Flid) and partner in Film Lounge London Ltd, the company that owns Film Lounge. “Film Lounge is a new home for the violent film genre featuring new films such as Kung Fu Flid and cult films such as Night of the Living Dead and The Death Collector. These are films that people cannot , or would not want to, watch at the cinema yet are still extremely popular with mainly 18-35 males.”

Films can be streamed from www.filmlounge.com in DVD quality to a variety of platforms and devices, including PC’s, PS3 and Xbox 360, without the need for additional software. Streaming of films costs only £1.99 and Film Lounge will soon be offering a download service plus mobile and high definition streaming.
