Pets and Vets As Partners will be having a community heartworm prevention clinic for pets on Saturday, April 18th from 8:30 am until 2 pm.
A heartworm is a parasite that infects dogs and cats, and is transmitted by mosquitoes. When left untreated, heartworm disease can be fatal. The good news is heartworm disease can be prevented through testing your pet yearly and giving monthly medication.
The clinic will be open to all pet owners, however appointments are required. Participants will receive a 15% discount on heartworm testing and monthly preventative.
Please call Pets and Vets as Partners at (765) 463-7877 for more information, or to schedule an appointment.
