Resurrection Cure for Death Explained This Sunday on The Coral Ridge Hour

On the national broadcast, program guests explain that Jesus’ vacant tomb guarantees that the physical bodies of Christians who die will one day be resurrected, renewed, and reunited with their souls.
“Indeed, the promise of our eventual resurrection has deep implications for how we live today, just as it did for Christ’s apostles who had seen the risen Lord,” says program guest Hank Hanegraaff, a Bible expositor and author of Resurrection. “The apostles lived their lives with eternal perspectives and therefore could transform the culture. … We live in a time in which, if we really believed in the resurrection, we too could transform our culture. We could turn an empire, as it were, upside down.”
Additional guests featured on the program include Randy Alcorn, author of Heaven and president of Eternal Perspective Ministries; and Dr. E. Calvin Beisner, author of Where Garden Meets Wilderness.
Dr. Jerry Newcombe, host of the Coral Ridge Hour program, notes that when Christ returns, the resurrection of Christians will not just be a spiritual one, “but a physical one as well in the same pattern of Jesus.” He called the future event “a majestic hope” for the believer.
“Judas the Betrayer,” a sermon preached by Coral Ridge Ministries’ founder Dr. D. James Kennedy, precedes the television feature.
