P4 Acquires Privately Held Security Company

PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 02, 2009 – Raleigh, NC - P4 Performance Management Inc., a leading provider of intelligent and innovative selective outsourcing solutions to large enterprise customers, and its majority shareholder, AJP Group LLC, announced today the acquisition of privately held Refense Technologies, a provider of vulnerability management solutions for network infrastructure. The agreement has been approved by the board of directors of Refense and the stockholders of Refense and AJP Group.

This acquisition will also allow P4 and Refense to jointly develop Security Vulnerability Solutions for large enterprises that are faced with growing regulatory compliance requirements” said AJP group and P4 Performance Management CEO, Tony Pompliano.

Refense has received significant company recognition. Most recently, Refense was awarded as the FastTrac Tech Company of the year by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development. Earlier, the company was named to the Tech 25 and selected to the Talent Showcase by GrowThink Research, a private equity research firm. Additionally, Refense has presented at Venture 2005 and CTIA’s Wireless Venture Forum in Silicon Valley.
