As is tradition, this prestigious award will be presented by the previous year’s award recipient, 2008 NOTY Donna Robinson, a renowned traveling nanny and a genuine advocate for children. In her role, she promotes quality child care to increase awareness about the industry. As a representative of the nanny profession, the 2009 NOTY will be available for media interviews and appearances, in addition to booking speaking engagements. Her child care philosophy can be found in INAVision, the association newsletter. 2004 INA NOTY Michelle LaRowe became affectionately known as America’s Nanny and went on to pen four parenting books. Appearing on national and international television, she helped enlighten the public about the professional nanny. She has also consulted with celebrity nanny, Nanny Stella from Nanny 911, who also endorsed her third book, Working Mom’s 411 (Regal, 2009).
In addition to the 2009 NOTY Luncheon, where the award recipient will be announced, the 24th annual INA conference is set to include 3 days of information-
