PODCAST #1 INTRODUCTION
WEB DESCRIPTION:  In April 2009 Meagan, will be heading to the Arctic, for a short, two-and-a-half week expedition.  This Polar Adventure, scheduled for April 9-27, 2009, is intended to test the limits of Meagan’s physical and mental endurance and ensure that there are no faults with her equipment.

WEB DESCRIPTION:  Meagan McGrath’s North Pole expedition is described as an adventure that includes several obstacles on the way to reaching the North Pole - from open water "leads" to huge pressure ridges of ice.  Meagan also discusses how her previous adventures have helped to prepare her for this expedition.

PODCAST # 4– COMMUNICATING WITH THE OUTSIDE WORLD
WEB DESCRIPTION:  Meagan McGrath, Sudbury’s best-known adventurer, discusses the technical gadgets she’ll be bringing with her to the North Pole and how she intends to communicate with Science North and fans.  She also tells us why there are challenges using navigational devices so close to the North Pole.
