Hightstown, NJ – April 1, 2009 - Graphik Connexions is a well-established virtual e-learning development company situated in Central New Jersey, in operation since 1996. GC knows how hard it is for 2009 students and graduates to find work in these hard economic times. They are currently looking for two students involved in any Instructional Design degree program looking to participate in GC’s newly launched Instructional Design Internship program. The program lasts three months, with a dedication of 20 hours per week required, and will run each year in the Spring.
The only requirements are that students have a computer, phone and Internet access. They must be available for one conference call weekly and at least one online training session with Cheryl McNeil, the CEO of Graphik Connexions. Interns will gain valuable knowledge in the field of e-learning, adult learning principles, writing for soft skills training and technology training, and even how to Storyboard. Depending on how well the student excels in the program, a Freelance position will be offered at the end of the three months by GC.
In addition, college and university students looking for an extra source of income can sign up with Graphik Connexions as a Virtual Marketing Assistant. Students who are technology savvy and have the skill set to blog, maintain a blog daily, understand and use Twitter, Podcast and submit business listings to directories should apply. The result of the students’ hard work is a 10% Commission on any lead that turns into a sale, no minimum required.
Students applying for either of these positions are asked to email a 500-word essay on why they should be selected and include their contact information.
They can email essays to cmcneil@graphikconnexions.com and indicate which position they are applying for by entering Instructional Design Internship or Virtual Marketing Assistant in the Subject line of the email.
