Capitola, CA: The computer key jewelry collection of a local Capitola jewelry artist and independent fashion and jewelry blogger, Capitola Girl, has been featured in this month’s ELLE Magazine. Capitola Girl’s unique pendant necklaces made from upcycled laptop computer keys caught the eye of an ELLE Magazine editor and was showcased in the Magazine’s April 2009 issue (page 106), alongside fashions and accessories from world-renown designers, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Manolo Blahnik.
Capitola Girl Jewelry is home-based jewelry business owned and operated by Susan Nelson, a Bay Area Technical Writer, who started selling her handmade jewelry creations online at the marketplace for handmade artisans, Etsy.com, in January 2008.
