The Health and Safety Law poster (current version introduced in 1999) includes all basic health and safety information and lets people know who is responsible for health and safety in the workplace. The NEW version is simplified with clearer instructions for both employers and employees and will be available from PureSafety™ on Monday 6th April 2009.
The law has been changed – for the new poster you don’t have to add contact details of your enforcing authority and HSE’s Employment Medical Advisory Service. You can add details of any employee safety representatives or other health and safety contacts, but this is not compulsory.
Featuring a sequentially numbered hologram to identify genuine versions, the new poster is printed on fully biodegradable material, ensuring its friendly to the environment when it reaches it’s end of life.
All employers are required to display a HSE poster by LAW, for those who already display the 1999 version of the Law poster this will remain compliant until 5th April 2014. After this date, the NEW 2009 version MUST BE DISPLAYED.
