Available courses
1) Fundamentals of Indoor Air Quality
Objective of this course is: i) To introduce participants to the problems associated with indoor environments, specifically indoor air quality; ii) To provide participants with a fundamental knowledge of building related illnesses, their causes and effects; iii) To enable the participants to develop the skills required to examine particular problems associated with indoor air quality, identify their causes and recommend mitigation strategies; and iv) To encourage participants to adopt creative design and planning practices based on occupant health and well-being.
2) Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager (CIAQM) Course
Are you a facility manager, building engineer or property owner that is interested in how indoor air quality (IAQ) affects the occupants of your space? The Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager (CIAQM) course is designed to help you diagnose indoor environmental problems in your building, correct those problems, and prevent them from ever happening again. The course gives you practical steps to establish an IAQ Management Plan for your facility that will help you collect, log and resolve air quality complaints. The course also prepares you for the only accredited certification specifically designed for those that manage indoor air quality problems, sponsored by the American IAQ Council.
3) Detection, Remediation, and Avoidance of microbiological problems in Building
The purpose of this course is to provide participants with: i) an appreciation of the potential problems that exist or have the potential to exist due to presence of these organisms; ii) close scrutiny and understanding of the personnel and buildings in your care, so that any environmental quality “red flags” that appear can be controlled immediately;
