The company was publicly launched in June of 2008 with an appearance Guitar World’s Buyers guide. Since the launch, the company’s guitars have received international attention for their stunning looks, sounds and playability. President Ray Matter dreamt of manufacturing a product in the “Cradle of Aviation” using aerospace materials. This inspired the designer to fuse two of his greatest passions-love of guitars and his love of metal craft into one-thus the creation of AlumiSonic Guitars. The company is uniquely innovative in its designs, as it is the first to offer a “hybrid” guitar that has both wood and metal incorporated into the body with its own specially designed wood chambering system with changeable pickups.
Terry Little, the company’s Vice President, was asked to perform for the Zebra show by Vision Entertainment because the promoter thought her music-a soulful combination of hard rock, pop and blues, would compliment Zebra’s style. As an added bonus, Vision Entertainment recognized AlumiSonic as an up and coming guitar company and asked them to co-sponsor the event. Terry will be performing her original compositions with Mark Mataban, an exceptional guitarist who is featured in many of the guitar company’s product demonstration videos.
