Timid is a featured artist at Utica Music & Arts Festival September 10-12, 2009
The Utica Music & Arts Fest, in its second year, will take place September 10-12, 2009 at a number of venues around the Mohawk Valley. This event, organized as a forum for unsigned musicians and artists, also raises awareness of the arts, fosters community involvement and stimulates economic growth in our region. About Timid
Timid has received an immensely positive reception on several of the major Hip Hop websites, featured on numerous mixtapes worldwide and has received radio play in Florida, Africa, Canada, and Japan. As well as stage stops from New York to Tokyo and television and radio appearances from Washington DC to Australia. Timid has shared the stage with artists such as Travis Barker & DJ AM, Warren G, Paul Wall, Jeru The Damaja, CunninLynguists, A-Alikes, Agallah of Dipset and Pack FM and has worked along with Hip Hop veterans like Mikey D (Mikey D & The LA. Posse/Main Source), Granddaddy IU, Edo G, Lin Que (X-Clan, MC Lyte) and Domingo. Along with features and production on releases distributed by legendary Hip Hop label Rawkus Records and Japan’s Handcuts Records, Timid is not one to sleep on.

Utica Music Fest works with musicians, performers, and artists by providing networking opportunities, information and showcase opportunities. UMF features over 200 bands performing live in some of Utica’s best venues. Hundreds of performers will showcase their music in bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants all over the city.

It is the mission of the Utica Music Festival to revitalize Utica's historic appreciation of the musical arts while providing a stimulus to our local economy. We intend to initiate the creation of a solid, growing, and eternal network of industry professionals, centered in Utica with local, national, and international expansion.
