March 28, 2009 - PRLog -- Founded by BA(Hons) Journalism student, Chris Green, the concept has been transformed into an innovative student media organisation called Crossfire Media, based at, and supported by, UCF.

Crossfire Media has generated a network of businesses, charities and supporting organisations that provide students with live project briefs, commercial filming, design, photography and copywriting, and has also developed a support mechanism for young media professionals and students in post-conflict countries called the Supporting Voices programme.

Find out more about this inspirational initiative and Crossfire Media's partnership with a non-political news agency in northern Iraq by reading Chris Green's article in the independent national student newspaper, The National Student:

Crossfire Media is now appealing for donations and support from students, lecturers and organisations to make this programme a long-term support mechanism and a basis for the development of both overseas and UK students.
