Machining professionals on the Web will soon have a new place to meet, network and develop trading partnerships with domestic and international buyers of machined parts and precision components. Industrial Leaders, an online American Industrial Supply Marketplace and founder of the Buy American portal announced today it will soon launch its new Online Machine Shops Marketplace.
Details of the new website will be revealed when it is officially launched next week, according to Maria Santos, a spokeswoman for Industrial Leaders. Santos said the marketplace is designed as a value-added interactive resource to its rapidly growing Online Manufacturing Marketplace which is used by industrial buyers and suppliers in over 54 countries to buy and sell a broad range of industrial supplies, materials, machines and allied equipment used in manufacturing industries.
"The primary purpose of the Industrial Leaders machining marketplace is to promote machine shops, job shops, contract manufacturing companies, casting foundries, engineers, rubber and plastic molders as well as other custom manufacturers,"
As the developer of IndustrialPR, a manufacturing and engineering news portal and publisher 192 industrial directories all of which focus on different equipment, Donald LaBelle, CEO of Industrial Leaders and his colleagues decided to create the online machining marketplace to provide a more service oriented website for the manufacturing community. LaBelle said the whole idea of the new site is to provide domestic and overseas companies the opportunity to post and explore offerings for all kinds of custom manufacturing solutions from metal fabricating and mold making to cold forming and rapid prototyping. "It's all about helping machine shops prosper on the Web," said LaBelle.
