The supercharged dual overhead camshaft engine now develops 540 bhp and 510 lb ft torque, more than the previous generation car’s figures of 500 and 480. The car also features a conical air filter in place of the more traditional flat-panel system, allowing for more cool air to be forced into the engine again increasing the power and efficiency of the engine.  

The clutch has also been upgraded to a twin-disc system, greatly improving the driveability of the car. The first 4 gear ratios stay the same but the 5th and 6th gears are changed to improve the fuel efficiency by further lowering the rev’s. New 19” wheels are featured on the coupe with Goodyear F1 super car tyres and together with optimised dampers the car is now a lot more competent on handling with better roll control with more body control through cornering.

The interior of the car has also had a significant upgrade with genuine leather used all round for the upholstery and real aluminium on the instrument panel giving the car a more “up-market” feel.
