PRLog (Press Release) - Mar 27, 2009 -
In a collaboration which brings local Balinese community leaders, school students and an LA film maker together, Bali will be collecting signatures for its petition to support UN Article 31, at an event being held in Ubud, on April 1st 2009.

An evening with film maker Steven Starr and screening of his film “Flow-For the Love of Water” - comes as the culmination of a project that has brought students from Bali’s Green School and Starr into collaboration over the past 3 months, in a study of water in Bali and a presentation that was given at the Global Issues Network, EARCOS conference in Bangkok earlier in the month. Working with local community groups to address Bali’s rising issues of water pollution and conservation, the project is set to continue over the coming months and includes collecting signatures for a new entry into the United Nations Declaration for Human Rights, Article 31.
