It's a fair bet that Jimmy Kimmel never saw it coming.
When his television show aired a hilarious (and, of course, doctored) clip of Nancy Pelosi speaking to the press with Brad Pitt at her side, he probably didn't think that it would soon become an internet sensation.
Yet that appears to be exactly what is happening.
The Hope For America, a web site with conservative videos, linked to the video on March 12, 2009. Since then, it has been viewed over 13,000 times. Links are coming in from all over the place, most notably mail clients. Apparently viewers who enjoyed the video are e-mailing the link to their friends.
Without giving away too many details, the video depicts, in an exaggerated fashion, how enamored Nancy Pelosi is with Brad Pitt while she is speaking to the D.C. press corps. After the doctored video is shown, Jimmy Kimmel can be heard saying that he doesn't blame her for acting that way, much to the amusement of his audience.
Nancy Pelosi has not been available for comment.
