Bob Knows Best to play Molly Malones in celebration of April Fools Day.

March 26, 2009 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – When most people think of rock music, they don’t think of April 1st. Bob Knows Best is trying to change that.

In support of what might be the silliest day of the year, Bob Knows Best, a 6-piece comedy indie rock band from Covina, will perform live at Molly Malones in Los Angeles on Wednesday April 1, 2009. The show, unofficially dubbed the April Fools Dayaganza, plans to provide a twist to the already outrageous live antics of the comedy rock group.

“We’re definitely going to be doing something different,” says Graham Beightol, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. “We’re still going to be playing music to make people laugh, but this show might require a little more attention.”

“I would definitely agree that Aprils Fools Day needs to be celebrated more often, especially in the trying times of today,” says Scott Carri, lead vocalist and kazoo player. “People need to stop worrying and start laughing. There is still a lot of good in the world.”

Fans of modern rock music no doubt know the history of Molly Malones, an Irish pub founded over 30 years ago, which has hosted a number of successful acts, like Michelle Shocked, Joan Osborne, Lenny Kravitz, and Flogging Molly.

Known as “BKB” to die-hard local fans, Bob Knows Best are scheduled to open at Molly Malones this Wednesday April 1st, at 8pm. The cost of entry will be $8 at the door.
