These are Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Always being secluded, Northeastern state is a home to numerous tribes and superfluous natural beauty. Northeast is especially known for their vibrant landscape and scenic beauty. Collective eight regions portrays a canvas of nature in its real form untempered and unexplored.

Northeastern states are especially famous for picturesque landscape and varied flora and fauna still to be explored. Assam is the gateway of Northeast and the major center of activities. The turbulent Brahmaputra river providing a rich soil to make a healthy habitat. Also famous for Kaziranga National Park where rare two- horned rhinos makes it a hot tourist destination. Despite of being small and secluded all Northeastern states are always been a major tourist attraction as it seems nature blessed this places with full vigor.

Cloud of mist looms over the beautiful lush green landscape and a clear view of mighty Kanchenjunga is spellbinding. Some of the Northeastern states have an ancient Buddhist relics in the form of monasteries and lifestyle. Gangtok, capital of Sikkim at an altitude of 1780m, lure plenty of tourists every year for its exotic locations and serene environment. There are also other places like Arunachal Pradesh where the valley is spotted with various heritage monasteries. Flapping flags decorated pagoda roofed small houses, a rich cultural heritage with people always smiling. People are very hardworking and creative, every house have a garden with roses, lilies, sunflower and other vibrant flowers blossoming in their garden.

Perhaps the diversity along the various landscapes of Northeastern states makes it such a wonderful place. Not only hills but also a home of dense  forest and various flora and fauna, the sterling attraction of the states are its glaring  range of flora and fauna, in a habitat, which nicely blends glacial piece of land, alpine meadows and sub-tropical rain forests. For the adventurous, Northeastern ranges has the promise of challenging treks and and exciting opportunities in some extreme conditions.

Climatic conditions of Northeast is very soothing. Summer is cool and winter is chill. Environment is something very different from rest of India. Meghalaya one of the  adorable state in Northeast is  known for its drizzly climate, a land of otiose waterfalls, calm lakes and profuse  rainfall. Mawasmai Gram, a village in Meghalaya is the rainiest place on Earth. Beautiful waterfalls and lakes in Cherrapunjee have been drawing tourist across the world.

Not only natural beauty but also man made beauty entice travelers. As there are several places in Northeast states like in Nagaland and Meghalaya where beautiful churches are scattered over. These beautiful churches were built during the period of British imperialism still captures many eyes. Not only churches but ancient Hindu temples , Buddhist monasteries, Buddha's engraved image (in Mizoram), and even ancient boneyards are some of the treat for the visitors.
