With the economy in turmoil, the 2012 election is starting to look pretty favorable for the Republican Party to make President Obama a one term wonder. The question is who will step up to the plate? Mitt Romney is already showing interest, but is he the man for the job? If he couldn't beat McCain in the primaries why should we assume he would be able to beat Obama in 2012?
The one name that is getting a lot of attention right now is Rush Limbaugh. The reason is simple; he is the complete opposite of President Obama. Rush's listeners have wanted him to run for President in the past but this time it's different. This time it seems more serious. It seems as if the Republican Party has lost its way and needs a strong leader to inspire them and whip them into shape and all signs are pointing to Rush.
Is he up for the challenge? My guess is yes, but that's not the issue. The problem is he makes too much money doing what he's doing. Why would he or anyone else give up a multi-million dollar gig to take the most stressful job in the world? The only way Rush would give up his spot as the king of talk radio would be if he really thought he could make a difference. That is where you come in. If you really think Rush is the man for the job, you have to convince him.
