Portland, Maine – CouponLanding.com, a new service designed to help people take full advantage of coupons and other special price offers directly from the Internet has been launched by TookMedia of Portland, Maine, managers of numerous blogs and special-interest Websites. Special money-off price codes, free shipping information and coupons which can be redeemed electronically are available from thousands of manufacturers, on-line merchants and traditional retailers.
“These days, especially, everyone is trying to find new ways to save money, and we can help,” explains Website founder and CEO, Luke Livingston: “We have deals available in all sorts of categories, from electronics, to books, to gift items; home and garden, baby equipment and supplies; sports equipment, jewelry – a really long list.”
CouponLanding is considerably more user-friendly than some earlier attempts to provide easy access to coupons. “Our site is organized and reads like a blog,” Livingston says, “so it’s much easier to navigate or to understand the offers being presented. Some other sites are way too jumbled or technical, and consumers sometimes have difficulty understanding what they’re getting, or finding what they need.”
But the most unique aspect of CouponLanding is the extent to which it is compatible with all the major social networking sites and systems. The site is fully integrated with Twitter, so consumers can learn about the latest offers of interest to them in real time. Participants can share coupons and other offers with friends and family in lots of ways, too – by email, or by linking to FaceBook pages, for example. Livingston adds that “by subscribing to our RSS feed, consumers can be sure they won’t miss out on any of the latest offers.” While the site is organized chronologically, with the most recent offers first – like most familiar blogs – there is also the option to sort by category, as well.
“A new computer, golf clubs, nursery furniture for your newborn – we have it all at CouponLanding. If you don’t see something you like right now,” Livingston adds, “check back. We’ll have everything there is, sooner or later.
