LOS ANGELES, CA—Ionic Composite Lodge Number 520 prepares for the 39th consecutive visit by The Grand Master of Masons in California.
Worshipful Master Jeff Bear (Master of the Lodge) is hosting the historic event at the lodge and is expecting a record number of members and visitors to attend. In attendance will be no less than four (4) Past Grand Masters. The event is open to the public beginning at 7 pm. Prior to the open reception, dinner will be served at 5:45pm. Reservations for dinner need to be made before Thursday March 26th, 2009 5:00pm.
Worshipful Bear stated, “I am extremely pleased and excited to have the Grand Master and so many of the Grand Line take time out of their very busy schedule to visit with us.”
This formal event will include the Freemason ritual of “Receiving the Grand Master.” The Most Worshipful Larry L. Adamson, Grand Master of Masons in California will be escorted to a position of prominence and deliver a brief speech. During the ceremony, a few lodge announcements will be made as well as a touching “bid farewell” to those Masons who have passed away.
Robert L. Sills, Past Master and former Grand Senior Deacon; chairman for the event, has set the entertainment for the evening by one of Ionic Composite’s own, The Zack Lodmer Jazz Trio as well as including the traditional Sundae Bar directly following the open portion of the event.
