R&B's Rising Star, Nikkole Says She Was Influenced By Teena Marie, The Emotions and Mariah Carey.

PR Log (Press Release) – Mar 24, 2009 – Having just enjoyed an exquisite lunch interview with R&B singer, Nikkole and her label representative Michael Deveraux, there is no wonder why this singer / songwriter is capturing so much attention.  She has learned from some of the best in the business and after asking her about some of her influences, it is no surprise that she sounds so great!  I mean the talent is there, but Nikkole went a step further when she was educating herself on her craft by listening intently to industry heavy-weights while at the same time adding her own uniqueness.  Nikkole says she grew up on a strong diet of Teena Marie and The Emotions because her mother played them all the time when she was a toddler and then later on Mariah Carey came into the picture.  Nikkole says, what she has learned from these artists is priceless.  Nikkole also says that she has had the opportunity to meet and work with many of these great artists as a singer, songwriter and producer.  

Now Nikkole has gotten into the composition and production of her own dance remixes on most of her maxi-single releases.  She uses talents she has learned by studying Madonna and Janet Jackson and now Lady Gaga.  Nikkole states, ''We can't leave our people at the dance clubs out!  I want to have something for everyone on my remix singles.  I will always give my fans a number of mixes, so that everyone is happy''!  

Nikkole whose fans are beginning to dub her ''Creolepatra'' in reference to her current cd on SE Enterainment Records, suggests that her album “Creolepatra” is like one big Mardi Gras celebrating many emotions.  Nikkole says that she is very happy with the lastest single from ''Creolepatra'' entitled, ''Love Was Made In Heaven'' which features saxophonist, Everette Harp.  This magnificent single is being released on March 31st and is sure to set the air ablaze with passion, love and desire.  The song was recently chosen as this year's top wedding song by ''The Wedding Guide''!  

Nikkole insists that she will continue to make great strides to be the best artist she can be because she wants to deliver the best to her fans.
