The Third Annual “Women On the Move” School Tour
(New York, NY March 23, 2009) The Third Annual "Women on the Move" School Tour represents different sectors of business fashion, entertainment, politics, and more. Women On The Moves mission is to inform, empower, and educate young women. Our program targets high school/college students, and provides awareness to students about the vast career opportunities available to them.
Women On The Moves school tour provides students with the opportunity to interact with women who have solidified successful careers in these various career fields, and can share first hand experiences and offer professional advise to students regarding planning their futures. The participating panelists help motivate and inspire students to work hard in order to ascertain their goals.
Women On The Move will hold it's third annual seminar this March for Women’s History Month. Ravenel Records recording artist Nina B states "Women on the Move is something I wish I had when I was young. I grew up in the hood, and we didn’t have many role models. The women that are in powerful positions must realize that they can be and are role models. We should want to share our knowledge with the youth, and pass it on to the next generation of women to come.” Women On The Move prides itself on providing a positive, informative, educational, interacting environment that will offer students the tools to help them create successful futures.
The Third Annual Women on the Move seminar launches Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at New York University.
