SAE Institute and Remix Hotel have been partners for almost a decade. For years they have combined forces to bring high-end producers, artists and engineers to Remix Hotel so that people all over the country get get first-hand knowledge about how making great music is done. Once again, their combined efforts have paid off with a seminar series at this year's Remix Hotel in Miami, this time creating a seminar series feature Logic and the new Euphonix Artist Series Controllers.
A special hands-on event will allow attendees to follow along as multi-Platinum producer and remixer Vincent di Pasquale goes step-by-step through various aspects of production using Apple Logic Pro. Hear inside secrets to specific processes that di Pasquale uses to achieve success in the studio. Multiple Apple workstations will be equipped with Logic Pro and Euphonix Artist Series control surfaces that will allow attendees to follow along and perform each step as they learn.
Di Pasquale will discuss various techniques that are included in his new comprehensive remixing course titled Remix it Like A Record. Di Pasquale will be using his remix of Nadia Ali's hit single "Crash and Burn" and the topics to be discussed include; vocal production, beat production, bass lines and sub-group mixing.

12 p.m. Vocal Production
Learn how to time-stretch vocals and create signature vocal edits.
1:30 p.m. Beat Production
Learn how to use the grid to create the basic beat foundation. From there, build up a groove with signature loops and accents.
3 p.m. Bass Lines
Learn the importance of "patch vs. pattern" and how to set your mix apart by exploring various bass-line styles.
4:30 p.m. Mixing With Subgroups & Stems
Get complete control of your mixes by learning how to create subgroups and stems.
