But since boot camp sessions are generally conducted in 6-week sessions, can you really see results in time for summer?
“Everyone is different. It all depends on how hard you work, how much you need to lose, or what your goals are. But yes, if you really apply yourself, watch your diet, and commit to a fitness program that incorporates cardio, weight-training, body-sculpting and resistance training – you can see a measurable difference in just 6-weeks.” says Ron Brockman, boot camp instructor.
“I’ve seen people come through our 6-week boot camp, and lose anywhere from 6-13 inches. Last session was a record maker though; the lady who won lost 18 inches in just 6-weeks by coming to every class, giving it 100% and watching her food intake.” Brockman further adds.
USA Martial Arts and Fitness in Wichita conducts a Fitness Kickboxing Boot Camp that incorporates high-energy combinations of punching, kicking, core work, and strength training done on a life-size punching bag, with weights and/or resistance bands, plus calisthenics, plyometrics. It is a complete workout that improves flexibility, speed, strength, muscle tone, cardio endurance, and even self defense.
