MIE Solutions, a proven leader in the software industry, has just released version 10.3 of their industry leading production control software for the manufacturing industry. This is the third release in 12 months which shows that there has been great improvement in the product and its capabilities.
MIE Trak 10.3 has just been released which covers over 150 new enhancements and changes to the 10.2 released product. Features include but not limited to
- Pricing override for quoting
- Time clock improvements to manage overtime and work days
- Scheduling improvements to force specific work centers to be scheduled either finite or infinite
- Customized email notifications when certain events occur
- MIE Kiosk rewrite allowing paperless job collection and costing on the shop floor.
- Multiple prices per item, per vendor is now allowed
- Workcenters can now be disabled to make it clearer when scheduling
- Purchase order quality rating and quality control notes
Lean manufacturing is ideal with MIE Trak which allows manufacturing cells to be handled, tracked and costs accumulated very efficiently.
MIE Solutions provides an integrated environment to all its products including document management with MIE Docs and integration into MIE Exchange B2B buyer / supplier portal for ease of data entry. Customers can now enter purchase orders online through MIE Exchange and those purchase orders a securely transmitted directly into the MIE Trak production control and tracking system to eliminate data entry errors. MIE Trak also integrates now with MIE Exchange purchasing API which enables customers to electronically post all their purchase orders online in electronic format allowing their suppliers to electronically pick up their purchase orders.
