Pirate enthusiasts are now able to receive an official Decree of Piracy from the International League of Pirates (BeAPirate.org)
From Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean films to the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers with their end zone pirate ship to annual pirate festivals in Florida, California, North Carolina, and Louisiana; the popularity of pirates (and playing pirate) has never been stronger.
Now would-be pirates are able to turn their pirate fantasies into reality via the International League of Pirates (BeAPirate.org)
“How many people get to live their fantasy?” says Richard King, vice president of Marketing and Public Relations for Collectibles Identification and Authentication, the parent organization to BeAPirate.org. “Who doesn’t have a fascination with pirates? Now you can live your fantasy and be officially recognized as a pirate.”
In addition to allowing would-be pirates to register as an official pirate recognized by the International League of Pirates, BeAPirate.org offers information on pirate history, listings of pirate festivals, and links to pirate clothing merchandisers. Visitors can also register their boat, plane, or car as a part of the International League of Pirates fleet.
