Melanie Harrison, the creator and producer of Cotton Candy Pin-up Girls, says, " I've created cotton candy pin-up girls for African American models because, in the 1940's & 50's, we had legends such as, Lena Horne, Dorothy Dandridge and Eartha Kit, but where were the African American women who were not in the public eye and wanted to be pin-up models too? I did a google search to find some and all that kept popping up was the ladies mentioned above and that was it. That is why I created cotton candy pin-up girls so that African American women can finally get a chance to be seen in that genre as well."
Women from all over the world want to be what the ladies abreviate as CCPG. The buzz has definitely gotten out there, and women from states such as, California, New York, Atlanta, Houston and the list continues to grow, want to put on there red lip gloss and show there pearly whites.
